AutoTrader tests the Tunland G7 TLX 4×4 automatic

AutoTrader’s review of the Tunland G7 TLX 4×4 assessed what the higher-specification double cab offered in everyday driving. The test vehicle used a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine producing 120 kW and 390 Nm, with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
The reviewer praised the smooth gearbox and low-speed pulling power. Cabin observations included comfortable front seats, twin 12.3-inch displays and a generally favourable impression of noise and refinement.

The review also described the rear seats as firm, noted imperfections in some plastic trim and found the sound system unremarkable. Reported fuel use was 8.9 L/100 km during that particular test, rather than a guaranteed result for other drivers.
This summary reflects AutoTrader’s assessment, not a Thorp test. A drive in the current G7 remains the best way to judge its ride and cabin for your own needs.
