The Tunland G7 range at its 2024 South African launch

The Tunland G7’s June 2024 introduction brought one single-cab and five double-cab derivatives to South Africa. Cars.co.za’s launch coverage described a range spanning manual and automatic transmissions, with 4×2 and 4×4 double-cab options.
The shared 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine was listed at 120 kW and 390 Nm. The single cab and entry double cab used six-speed manual gearboxes, while other derivatives received an eight-speed ZF automatic.
Different trims for different priorities
The launch range included TL, TLX and Limited double cabs. Equipment increased through the trim levels, with differences in cabin features, wheels and driver-assistance systems.
This is a record of the 2024 launch, rather than a current specification or price list. For today’s choices, compare the G7 range with Thorp Foton.
