Maroela Media reviews the Tunland G7 TLX 4×4

In a review carried by Foton South Africa, Maroela Media’s Brendon Staniforth spent five days with the Tunland G7 TLX 4×4 automatic. His assessment focused on whether the bakkie offered a credible balance of capability and value.
The review highlighted the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine’s 120 kW and 390 Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Staniforth responded positively to the throttle calibration and the way the vehicle cruised.
Comfort is worth checking personally
He also noted a firm suspension feel and found the steering-wheel position restrictive. Those observations are useful prompts for a test drive, particularly if the vehicle will regularly carry passengers without a load in the back.
This is a summary of an independent review, not a Thorp road test. Compare the current G7 derivatives with our team and assess the seating position and ride for yourself.
